Featured Single: If You Seek Amy ---by Britney Spears

Monday, March 30, 2009

If you liked the song "Baby One More Time, "Oooops!...I Did Again", from Britney's debut album, this music will refresh your mind 'coz the man behind those Big Hits, is the same man Britney co-worked with in her song "If You Seek Amy"... Britney, after all the years is a strong woman, and she has proven that, as we can see after so many turndowns, she did survive. Besides a scandalmongering lyric that does seem to be built around an excuse to spell out the similar-sounding letters in the title, everything else is Max Martin and Spears at their best: a stomping dancefloor beat with the song along and the singer sounding like she's having a blast being the bad girl. While previous singles were instant top five successes based on first-week digital sales before the release of "Circus," "Amy" is moving up the old-fashioned way, with rising airplay and sales, showing the makings of a true hit.

BILLBOARD HOT 10 (as of March 2009)

Sunday, March 29, 2009

Let's have a recap on the recent top 10 of the Billboard's Hot 100. Well good news 'coz there are more airplay gainer this week, on the other hand, some of them failed to continue or failed to stay on their Hot Spots...

Flo Rida is still on top of the charts with his hit single 'Right Round', while Lady Gaga, is on the second spot, with the hit song 'Can't read my, Can't read my No he can't read my poker face (she's got me like nobody)'----'Poker Face' this quite techno music will really make you dance all night, just like what it did to me, LOLs!!! Soulja Boy Tell 'em and Sammie's 'Kiss me through the phone moved one spot from last week's Top 4, while T.I and Justin Timberlake's 'Dead and Gone stepped down 2 spots which made them on the fourth this week. The All-American-Rejects' 'Gives You Hell' isn't really in Hell, cause their song moved one step higher on the Billboard floor. this week is not really good for Kelly Clarkson, 'coz from being last week's airplay gainer, her 'My Life Would Suck Without You' moved a step lower. While 'Blame It' from Jamie Foxx (feat. T-Pain) is really working so well in the music scenerio, another gainer from last week's 8th. This week made some difficulties for Kanye West, which made him lose his track and exchanged position with Jamie Foxx... So here, the newest and the best airplay gainer of the week....let us all welcome her with her co-artist for the 'I Told You So',is no less than Carrie Underwood and Randy Travis.... i guess they really deserve to receive a round of applause!!! Well, here's another entry from Lady Gaga, 'Just Dance' (feat. Colby O'Donis) which remained top 10. That's all for now Folks!!! Thanks for dropping by.

Robbie Williams to Rejoin 'Take That'

Thursday, March 26, 2009

Robbie Williams, after quitting the British boyband sensation Take That in 1995 to launch a solo carreer, is now preparing to reunite with the said boyband.
"I'm in regular contact with them and it's looking more likely by the week. The lads all seem up for it. I think it would be fun," he told the 'Sun'- a british Newspaper. Take That re-formed without Williams in 2005 and have revived some of their old success. Last year he announced they had all been playing together after the feud -- but said he still had things to achieve on his own before an official reunion.
The band would be following a well-trampled path if they get back together, after a surge of nostalgia comebacks including the Spice Girls, the Police, the
Sex Pistols, Blur, isn't that great if they did all get back in the music scenes? I think i'll be the one to promote Spice Girls if ever...

Guitar Tablature

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

To all Guitar lovers, I'll be giving you some  tablature sites, where you can search for your fave songs so you can practice all by yourself and play guitar like a pro.

What is a Tab or Tablature?

It is a form of musical notation, which tells players where to place their fingers on a particular instrument rather than which pitches to play.

Okay then, as i promised... well, here are the links:
      Nice playing there!

What's New and What's Hot

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

Here's The Newest and Hottest Music on Billboard Hot Chart for this week.

Flo Rida's 'Right Round' is on Top number ONE , This guy's actually NO newbie in making Top Hits on Billboard Charts, ahem... next to it is T.I's 'Dead and Gone' with Featured artist Justin Timberlake...

On the next spot is 'Poker Face' by Lady Gaga or Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta in real life
...whew, what a name!!! :) keeping his record on top 4 here is Soulja Boy's 'Kiss me Thru The Phone' with his co-singer Sammie. Sammie who? ---Sammie, short for Sam Milby...haha joke aside, anyway let's move on to no. 5... Kelly Clarkson is really moving to the top with her song 'My Life Would Suck Without You', this i believe is on top 9 last week, great achiever for the week huh.

Whoa! While the All-American Rejects' 'Gives you Hell' jumped down one place from last week's 5th... Good work for Kanye West whose song (Heartless) is on Top 8 last time, here he is on top 7... Anyway Jamie Foxx's 'Blame it', is on the other hand working well with top 10 last week and now on no. 8... Miley Cyrus lost her track to the mountain, from top 6 to 9 with her song 'The Climb', but this definely not Her Fall.. Last but not the least, she's gone down rapidly from top 7 to 10 on this week's toplist, is none other than Lady Gaga again with her hit single 'Just Dance' (with featured artist Colby O' Donis).
